While this can cause keystone distortions, the TK800 has auto-correction, so it couldn’t be easier to set up quickly. All in all, it has the same audio output as the model in our Optoma UHD50 review. It does make a bit of noise but seemed quieter than the HT2550. As with most other home entertainment projectors, you will want to connect external speakers through a receiver. It has a small speaker but won’t give you a cinema sound. This can come in handy, too, when night comes, and you’re using it as an outdoor projector. It also has some basic controls on the top of the unit for when things aren’t dark, and you don’t have the remote. The TK800M comes with a backlit remote control that is handy for dark rooms, which is a nice touch, as is the blue front of the unit, making it stand out from the crowd of boring white competitors.
